As the game's release draws ever nearer, Rockstar are going to great lengths to educate gamers about what is arguably their most ambitious title to-date, and this video they've thrown our way today richly details the game's robust tool-set, mechanics and look and feel.

Talking about what Marston can do within the game-world; which is everything from hunting and herding to gambling and drinking, "Life in the West" is a pretty neat 'what's what' of Red Dead Redemption, and having played the game myself, I can't stress enough how much people should really be looking into what this has to offer.

Watch the embedded trailer below, peruse the accompanying screens (all new) and check out some new info on the actual game-world over at www.rockstargames.com.

why does the sheriff's gun 31 seconds in look more like a glock than an old school pistol?

Maybe because they had guns back then that looked like that?
Besides it looks like a colt 1911, and a quick wiki reveals a similar looking gun made a bit earlier.

Still looking sweet, I rkn it will land on PC for holidays if they don't delay it any further on console.

The graphics look pretty sweet, not perfect but pretty sweet.

Also on the pirate games, I reckon we need a PIRATES VERSUS NINJAS game.

Seems to be some framerate issues in firefights. Maybe thats why its being delayed.

I don't understand why you'd release multiple trailers that look like they're suffering from low frame rates in the actual in game parts.

PS, marketing spiel

Sid Meier has made plenty of Pirates vs Ninja games, except you hardly ever see the ninjas because of that fact that they're ninjas
