Namco Bandai and Atari have today announced the existence of Test Drive Unlimited 2, a game they're coining MOOR (Massively Open Online Racing).
Unlike any other driving game, TDU2 blends the open world experience with realistic vehicles and performance dynamics and for the first time, TDU2 features vehicle damage, weather effects, day and night cycles, and a brand new island to explore - immersing drivers in a persistent online environment and revolutionizing multiplayer racing communities as players compete, team up, and share their achievements and creations online.
The game is scheduled to ship on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, though there's no current release date.

The first one was kind of neat, connecting to live and crusing about and challenging people on the fly was fun... but it controlled terribly :S
