It's Monday again and as per usual here's a few videos that came in while we were away from the screen:
  • Metro 2033: THQ released another new trailer for Metro 2033, the post-apocalyptic Russian shooter, nearing completion at 4A-Games in Kiev.

Today's clip features more of the game's mutated nasties and the weaponry that you'll be fighting them with in action. Watch it right here on AusGamers.

Metro 2033 is due on March 18th 2010 for PC and Xbox 360.

  • Silent Hunter 5: If subaquatic warfare is your thing, then Ubisoft have some more riveting footage from Silent Hunter 5 to feast your eyes on.

The latest clip, titled "variety", features short previews of the multitude of different gameplay experiences ranging from crew and system progression management to navigating the cramped halls and peering through a periscope. Check it out here in our video library.

Silent Hunter 5 is expected this Thursday, March 4th 2010 only on PC.

  • Transformers: War for Cybertron: After debuting with a damn cool cinematic trailer, Activision have now revealed the first in-game footage of their first Transformers game where the the human meatbags don't get in the way.

Point your browsers this way for more of Optimus Prime with a big-ass axe.

Acti have also sent along a fact sheet that clarified some new details about the game's multiplayer component:
Complete with several multiplayer modes, Transformers: War for Cybertron allows gamers to play through story missions with their friends in drop in/drop out online co-op, and also create their own TRANSFORMERS character for competitive head-to-head multiplayer modes, choosing among four distinct character classes, personalising its look and selecting from a huge variety of weapons, skills and abilities.
Sounds promising. Transformers: War for Cybertron is poised (but not yet confirmed) for a May 2010 release on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and DS.
