Depending on how you roll, this one's probably either going to be 'awwwww' or 'laaaaaame' but here it goes regardless.
Diverting our attention very briefly from the recent launch of the StarCraft 2 closed beta, Blizzard sent AusGamers a couple of less than usual items this week - World of Warcraft plushie pets; stuffed toys modelled after their equally materialistic in-game counterparts.
Admittedly, they are pretty cute and sales of in-game pets have at least been responsible for some hefty childrens charity contributions so you've got to give them that.
The plushies will be available from the Blizzard Store on February 23rd (Feb 22nd in the US), for US$24.99 each, plus shipping.
Check out our AusGamers hands-on preview for everything you could possibly want to know about these things.

That's only 550k in game pets, not many when there are 11 million playing. 5% take up on the offer.

I got the Panderan Monk - he has some cool moves. type /bow at him and he bows back.
42 bux per month covers my 2 accounts and remote access to the auction house for both, so I can play the ah at work :p
pretty good value I reckon.
