Ubisoft have today revealed the next title in the long running Ghost Recon Franchise: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
The announcement comes devoid of any screenshots only a very vague teaser trailer and some brief details. Created by the award-winning team behind Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, the game will feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier will go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience, with an unparalleled level of quality that will excite long-time fans and newcomers alike.A multiplayer beta is reportedly planned for winter 2010 (U.S. Summer), invites for which wil come packaged with Ubisoft's forthcoming Splinter Cell Conviction - due April 15 2010 for PC and Xbox 360. Early reports (although unconfirmed) suggest that Ghost Recon Future Soldier will see a simultaneous release on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a PC version following hopefully not too far behind.

Would need to see game footage to be sure tho. A bit lame that they are using the beta for this to push sales of Conviction also.

That's what she said.
First thing that came to mind when watching that was Metal Gear Solid, for reason mentioned above. It'd be nice to see what the actual game is like, trailers like this are a waste of time.
