Ubisoft have today revealed the next title in the long running Ghost Recon Franchise: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
The announcement comes devoid of any screenshots only a very vague teaser trailer
and some brief details.
Created by the award-winning team behind Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, the game will feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier will go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience, with an unparalleled level of quality that will excite long-time fans and newcomers alike.
A multiplayer beta is reportedly planned for winter 2010 (U.S. Summer), invites for which wil come packaged with Ubisoft's forthcoming Splinter Cell Conviction - due April 15 2010 for PC and Xbox 360.
Early reports (although unconfirmed) suggest that Ghost Recon Future Soldier will see a simultaneous release on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a PC version following hopefully not too far behind.
