If you haven't watched any of the previous videos for BioShock 2, then this should be your first stop.
The launch trailer is a realisation of the elements that BioShock 2 fans have been clamoring for. Breathtaking action set against the backdrop of a decaying underwater Utopia provides players with the slice of Rapture, all presented in a style that is distinctively representative of the BioShock universe. The trailer is over 3 minutes in length, so sit back and enjoy!
2K Games' subaquatic sequel is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 5th 2010. Watch the launch trailer right here on AusGamers and for more details on the game, check out our recent in-depth preview.

I like how at the start of the trailer theres all the classifications from other countries that have rated it 18+, sitting next to our 15+ rating.

Absolutely amazing. Great to see 2K just surpass the original, yet still have its own unique story and ideas.

Coolest launch movie ever, even if it's not in-game. But boy I can;t wait for in-game graphics to be like that! specially the character movements.

What are you basing this on? Some pre-rendered trailer? It looks exactly the same as the first one. Unimpressed.

I'll reserve judgement until the release, but what's new in this installment is that you play one of the big daddys instead of some normal dude from the outside world.

Could be interesting, though some published tidbits of the premise seem a bit odd - you play the "first big daddy", but it's 10 years on after the Bioshock. Didn't I kill the first big daddy in the original game?
