Borderlands PC Patch - Zombie Island of Dr. Ned

Alongside today's announcement of the next DLC, 2K and Gearbox have also released a new patch for the Windows PC version of Borderlands, enabling access to the first content expansion, previously only available to PS3 and Xbox 360 users.

The 200MB patch can now be downloaded locally from AusGamers files (note: this patch doesn't actually include the content, it just unlocks the ability to purchase and install it). There's also a PC De-authorization tool provided for the purpose of managing the secure-rom 5-machine install limit.

You forget to mention the fact that the game costs us more here in AUS than the rest of the world?

The pricing situation is completely unacceptable - they're maintaining the 30% price increase!

im so dissapointed that the DLC wasn't free.. i know it was wishful thinking but if they were going to charge for it they shouldnt have bumped the game price on steam, the cost far outways the benefits now. as fun as the game is there's not that much replay value which is the main reason i thought it would have been free
