The Classification Board has
RC'd another game here in Australia, this time MMO
CrimeCraft, which was allowed sale in the US after being awarded a Mature Rating from the ESRB.
The game is a massively multiplayer online game that allows players to partake in online multiplayer games of Capture The Flag, Team Deathmatch and more. You can customise female avatars to wear skimpy clothes, but there is no blatant nudity. Moreover, while violent, the game is arguably less gory and confronting than other games such as Fallout 3 or MadWorld (watch
this trailer for more).
Refused-Classification.com points out this is the fifth game refused classification this year. It's not known - specifically - at the time of writing what the Board's objections were to the game.

You are supposed to go to their website and download the game......
Kind of defeats the purpose of the Classification Board.

The Classification Board has stated that “drug use related to incentives or rewards” is the reason why gangster-themed MMO Crimecraft has been refused classification in Australia.

+1 that APB game looks pretty darn cool. Whether it is actually any fun might be a different story.

I've read that it's not required, but the publisher can submit their game for classification voluntarily.
