Christmas is rapidly closing in, and while the year's bigger releases have come and gone, the closer we come to the end of the year, the closer next year's massive Triple A titles come, thanks to the Q1 blowout of big names including (but not limited to) Splinter Cell: Conviction, BioShock 2, Darksiders and more.

In saying that, there's still plenty to keep you reaching for your wallet pre-Xmas, and with our newly created "Buy" tab as part of our game page information, you can use AusGamers as your one-stop gaming centre when thinking about stuffing your stocking.

Here are this week's game releases:
  • The Saboteur PC, PS3, Xbox 360 - To be a saboteur you must learn the art of sabotage. Slowly, but surely shutting down an entire organisiation without getting caught. Like publisher EA did with Pandemic - December 3
  • James Cameron's Avatar: The Game PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii - Based on the new Jimmy Cameron flick about blue cats fighting space marines. Looks surprisingly good - December 3
  • Saw PC, PS3, Xbox 360 - Based on what some have called "The Schindler's List of torture porn movies" comes a game some have described as "Worse than what the Nazi's did in Schindler's List" - December 3
  • Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! PS3, Xbox 360, Wii - Listen here Mr. Exclamation Point, movies work better in the dark, I don't give a shit how big your screen is. Got it? Good! Great! - December 3
  • Where The Wild Things Are PS3 - To quote the great psychologist Sigmun Freud, "In my pants!" - December 3
That's it for this week. It's obviously a lot smaller than we're used to, but you're probably broke by now anyway, so it's not really a bad thing. As always, thanks to K for comedy riffing and if we've missed anything, please drop us a line in the Comments section.
