It's not exactly E3, but Melbourne punters interested in checking out some of the latest goods in gaming can consider stopping by the second annual eGames Expo this weekend. Friday 30th November 2009 through Sunday November 1st 2009 at the Royal Exhibition Buildings, Carlton.

Boasted as Australia's biggest video games expo, there's actually quite a lot on offer this year, including the opportunity to check out a few pre-release games. Our man in Melbourne, Mike Bantick has the complete low-down on what to expect in this quick rundown.

* = Yes, there's a hint of sarcasm there.
