Activision and Raven Software have released a belated PC demo for Wolfenstein, the supernatural WWII-era first person shooter based on the legacy id Software franchise.
Wolfenstein brings the Naziís dark obsession with the occult to life with epic action and harrowing shooter combat. Use a powerful arsenal of both definitive and occult-enhanced Axis & Allied weapons to beat back a supernatural Nazi force that is full of surprises.

Wolfenstein was released on August 19 2009 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

free stuff! :D i've been wanting to try some id tech4 game on my current system in widescreen (i presume it's got widescreen resolutions?). i tried firing up doom3:roe a while back enabling widescreen with r_mode -1... but it was hopelessly low fps when you went into big rooms... tried heaps of tweaks but couldn't get decent frames in 1680x1050 :[ i hope this wolfenstien demo will be better. downloading now :D

wow its pretty bad. graphics were nice but everything else was s***. why the f*** is there crouch lock and run lock? console port? aiming feels f*****g retarded, and theres a pause between each weapon change. rtcw is a s*** ton better and its 8 years old.

I played Wolfenstein Enemy Territory at work earlier this week for a trip down memory lane.

Got many kills using only my knife.

yeh totally agree with ravn0s here... that demo would put me off buying the game rather than attracting me to it. it was s***house! no health or armour indicator? the whole setup looks old... the levels look nice more coz nazis had cool symbols than the gfx engine i rekn :P only about 20mins max of playtime in the demo too ... blah! :/
