Counter-Strike Creator's 'Tactical Intervention' Announced

Known by legions of fans as Gooseman, Counter-Strike co-creator Minh Le has announced his upcoming title Tactical Intervention.

Pressure to produce something spectacular while working for Valve proved to be too much for Minh Le after Counter-Strike 2 was shelved, so he left on good terms to work on his own projects.

After a false start and lack of funds while living in his parents basement, Minh Le was finally hooked up with FIX Korea, allowing him to work on Tactical Intervention in earnest.

Tactical Intervention, which is the CS that Gooseman wanted it to be, is due for beta testing soon. They're hoping to release the game this year.

You guys smoke a lot of crack. How does that look worse than source? Looks far better. The gun detail, the more active AI, dogs.

Pretty imaginative name, did he just think of other words for counter strike.

Graphics look pretty average, not bad, just nothing new, spose it depends how the game plays, but it just looks like all the other games in this genre.

militia can maybe come in at #4, had some good times raping SAS on that map so fond memories.

oilrig kicked ass...

dust/dust2 were good, but overplayed. I liked aztec too.

Office is cool, alley & militia were good fun.

Never a huge fan of docks

Tundra was OK, it was a bit awp heavy though. But the scout also worked well in that map.

Only good thing about oilrig was spawning underneath the ct's with nades that went through walls and a buy script.
