Right on schedule and just in time for the weekend, Konami have released the playable demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, the latest addition to their long running football franchise.

The demo is limited to 5 minute matches in exhibition mode and features the Liverpool and Barcelona clubs as well as the national teams from Germany, Spain, France and Itally.

Download it right here from AusGamers files (900MB).

Footy fans are spoiled for choice now with EA's FIFA 10 demo also available. Which franchise do you think wins out this year?

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is due in Australia on October 29 2009 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with Wii, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2 offerings following later in the year.

anyone tried this that has tried FIFA10? I assume this is better but FIFA10 looks pretty good too. I sort of object to FIFA10 on principle because I know they'll make a World Cup Edition which is basically the same game with the world cup teams soon and then cash in on that.

Yeah i played the FIFA10 demo. Tighter and more responsive controls, better AI then FIFA09 and ever so sweet animations for dribbling moves etc. Graphically looks the same as FIFA09 IMO.

oh and im xbox360 represent'n too.

FIFA10 for the PC blows chunks.

On consoles I'd go FIFA10, on the PC I'll be getting PES10 without batting an eyelid.

Just finished another few games. F*** PES10 is fantastic. The experience feels so much more authentic.
