Twisted Pixel - the independent developer behind the well-received Splosion' Man and The Maw - have revealed their next project as part of celebrations at the 2009 PAX Penny-Arcade Expo. Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley - as revealed in this debut trailer - looks to be an action platformer of sorts where the characters enter various comic books to alter their storylines, adapting to the different visual styles of the books that they enter.

Details are scarce at this point, but if Twisted Pixel's previous games are anything to go by, Xbox Live for Xbox 360 and Steam for PC are likely candidates for release platforms. Until then, enjoy the video.
