A classic revived, A Boy and His Blob is coming to Wii, and from the PAX 09 trailer we have for you here, it's looking every bit as cool and fun as it did way back in the day on NES.

You'll still be using the Blob to shapeshift into 15 "Amazing Objects" (as per the trailer), as well as battle through some 40 levels. There's no word on whether this will simply be a classic controller affair or if you'll be shaking your arms about with the Wii Remote, but we're hoping it's the former.

Check the trailer here.

Bats*** looks a lot more interesting than this game. I think a lot of people are looking back at the NES version through rosy glasses and think they'll get a similar experience a second time around.
