Adding to the collection of 'comedic' game trailers, we have the launch video for Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, a stylish update to the Serious Sam classic, presented in, you guessed it, High Definition.

While the comedy element here is arguable, the game itself is looking pretty spectacular and will be available on both PC and Xbox Live Arcade - marking Sam's official HD debut on home-console.

Nothing has changed barring the visuals and the inclusion of online cooperative play. Check it out right here.
