Direct from a preview session in Cologne, Germany, Trog gets up close and personal with id's latest FPS offering and asks if we really should be expecting anything ground-breaking or new from developer who has been a little quiet and underwhelming of late.

If you want to know more about Rage, what the fuss is about and if it really does look that good in person, we answer your questions here. Deserts, cars and mutants are all in a day's work for AusGamers.

Check the full preview here.

Nah, Paul Wedgewood from Splash Damage was doing the same thing at the E3 presentation for Brink. Playing with a controller just makes way more sense when you're standing up presenting the game to a crowd than sitting at a table with a mouse and keyboard.

Yeh, almost every game I saw was demo'd with Xbox 360, even ones that were coming on PC. I didn't mind it that much - I found it made it a bit easier to see what was going on because they weren't moving too quickly with the mouse/keyboard, which often makes it hard to see what is happening.
