Hot on the heals of this morning's film trailer debut for James Cameron's much talked about sci-fi epic Avatar, comes the debut trailer for it's less talked about videogame counterpart.

It not much next to the slick visuals of the film, but for "all in-game" dynamically rendered footage, it's not too shabby. One thing to also keep in mind is that the game, like the film is being designed to support 3D technology.

Sure, not many of us are going to have the kind of expensive screens required to utilise it, but it's something a bit different.

Check out the debut trailer for Avatar: The Game here on AusGamers.
