As well as checking out the singleplayer portion of the most anticipated RTS of all time, we were also given a brief amount of time to ask the game's lead designer, Dustin Browder, a handful of questions and he was more than happy to oblige.

In fact, he obliged so much, we didn't get through our whole list of Q's because he is one incredibly passionate (and articulate) person, but we got some great info out of him. So check it out!

Brilliant Steve ... cheers for that update. Dustin did in fact sound quite knowledgable on the current processes of the game ... can't wait for the next update.

Unsurprising. I've seen the sorts of questions you want answers to.

Woah woah woah... not a single question about whether the moon landing was faked? Or if 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government? No wonder Faceman's pissed.

It made a good read, but it does sort of seem like the questions were a little on the tame side.

We were asked to post questions for the interview in another thread but none were asked.
Maybe it was a prepared interview.

I'm sure they deliberately chose not to answer your questions. Its a conspiracy!

actually, the dual monitors question was posed from that thread, as was the question about prepping newbs for multiplayer - but the guy can talk, and he lead the questioning that followed based on the way he was talking - his responses are massive and we had all but around 10 minutes with him - I think some great stuff came out of it such as the potential for an original StarCraft re-release with updated visuals and new balancing - the dual monitors thing as well as the stuff about multiplayer...

o well, fair enough.

Im a bit suss on them delaying the game.
I hope they arent looking at fleecing us for pay as you go extra units.
Seems to be a push on for the latest games to release part of a game and charge you more money to buy extra parts of the game.

I would of liked to find out if LAN was still supported (requiring Battle net only for authentication)

hahaha I could imagine some of the whacky user names he'd have to say if he did that

"i_did_it_with_a_spider_monkey asked if there would be forced compliance to battle.net"
