Rage Quakecon Trailer

id Software's annual Quakecon event has kicked off in Texas today and they've kicked off with a new trailer for Rage, a post-apocalyptic shooter with racing elements and the first game to utilise the new id tech 5 engine tech.

That actually looks fucking cool. I guess my Fallout 3 days are over anyway, so might as well start looking forward to this... man if Nuclear fallout ever did happen, I'd be the master of it

reaaallly doesn't do much for me, tbh. I'm as id fanboi as they come and I'm more or less completely uninterested in this. The last 3 seconds of the trailer looked cool though.

yeah the earlier videos looked more interesting than this one.

its not looking as awesome as it initially did imo.

still, im going to play it and will probably really enjoy it

looks cool :D ... i like the sounds of the co-op...

��Two player online co-op is confirmed for consoles and PC. Console players will also have the option of split-screen co-op.
��Co-op will be an entirely separate mode that will not include the story elements of the single player campaign.
��Racers will have two seats for co-op riding, with one player manning a gun.

i hope by 'online' they also mean lan connects :|

I'd rather be playing Quake Live

I guess that doesn't count as this century tho cuz its really just rebadged Q3 :(

ID TECH 5 IS THE FUTURE.

I was going to say it looks a lot like a cross between a next-gen Source and Doom 3 engine. Even the the sentry guns from both original games are present!
