Activision have let us know you'll be able to play Guitar Hero 5 as your Xbox 360 Avatar, in what is clearly a no-brainer move seeing as Nintendo's Mii characters populate most of their games.
When fans take home Guitar Hero 5 on September 16, they'll be able to import their Avatars, choose their instrument and play along with their personalised characters rocking out to any track on the epic 85-song set list. Xbox 360 Avatars will also get a Guitar Hero makeover in the game's Create-A-Rocker mode, where players can further customise their creations with exclusive Guitar Hero clothing and accessories to ensure they look performance-ready.
We have a trailer up for the feature which you can view right here.

It'll be cool if they customise the Avatars somewhat to match the visual style of the game, but I doubt Microsoft would let them do that.
