Funcom's Age of Conan has just celebrated it's first birthday, along with a positive outlook for the future of this MMO:
“We are very pleased to see that more players are experiencing ‘Age of Conan’,” says Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Funcom, Morten Larssen. “The team has been working diligently on improving the game since launch, with several major updates that in addition to improving technology and client stability, also have added hours of more content, new gameplay features, and more. The fact that we are now also seeing longer average subscription periods is a testament to the fact that ‘Age of Conan’ is just getting better and better, and with the launch of the recent trial campaign there has never been a better time to check out the game than now!”
There's no hard numbers referenced in the press release (other than total sales figures, which is a not-unimpressive 1.2 million), but they do mention they have 120 people still working on the game, so they can't be doing that badly!

If you haven't checked it out since launch, make sure you take it for a test run with the recently release trial and our exclusive trial keys.

1.2 million copies sold = about 120 players in your mind?
