We were recently granted a phone interview with X-Men Origins: Wolverine Project Lead, Dan Vondrack, of Raven Software to find out what their philosophy was behind developing such a beloved character into a solid action gaming experience, and to also know just how hard it is to manifest an iconic, violent character into a viable product without too much censorship.
It's also no lie pretty much all comic book, and specifically, Wolverine, games thus far have sucked uber-bad. But that, apparently, is Vondrack and co's strength with this new Wolvie, and it's their grounding reason to get people to check out the game, because they're more aware of the former fact and used it to pitch the game in the first place. It's a great insight into the development process and their passion for Wolverine comes through in spades. Check out the full interview here.
