The promised downloadable content for Call of Duty World at War kicks off next week with the release of Map Pack 1. Treyarch have released a new trailer for the pack, which features more of that wacky Nazi Zombie action and the new power-ups that will be at your disposal to combat the zombie hoard.
The Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 expands the addictive COD multiplayer experience with four new maps. Players fight through the burning streets of Berlin in “Nightfire” and take up battle positions in fortified Japanese bunkers in "Knee Deep." “Station” offers a bombed out underground train station, and the Nazi Zombies return in “Verrückt” (Zombie Asylum) featuring more weapons, new Perks-a-Cola machines and electroshock defenses.
Map Pack 1 is due on March 18 2009 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a PC release unfortunately due at a later, as yet unspecified date. Hit up our Map Pack 1 game page for more details and screenshots of the new maps.

Not really, big improvement on their previous venture but CoD4 is still far superior.

Also, as far as the zombie survival mode goes, it was alright, till L4D came out.
