Demigod Trailer

THQ and Gas Powered Games have released a new trailer for Demigod, the upcoming DotA style strategy game from the creators of Supreme Commander and Dungeon Seige.

I'm a big fan of trailers that actually give a good idea of what the gameplay is like and this one's a good example. Demigod Executive Producer Brad Wardell walks us through 4 minutes of gameplay action describing the the tactics of the Oak General class. Check it out right here in the AusGamers video library.

Demigod is currently slated for a May 7th 2009 Australian release only for Windows PC.

You'd hope not, I'm pretty sure no game developer will design a game just for one person.

Opposing bases, 3 lanes, two towers in each lane. You control a hero unit on a maximum team of 5, creeps (weak fodder) spawn and run up the lanes to help you and you attempt to clear a path so you can destroy a major building in your opponent's base and subsequently win the game.

And if you didn't know it's a warcaft 3 mod map.
