We know it's just a downloadable content pack, but it's still something you're paying for and investing time in, so we thought we'd kick off the year's clear focus on DLC packs with a review of Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage.

Within you're going to find out pretty much what to expect from the update and from what's included, we've given a summary that should clearly give gamers an idea of whether or not shelling out the time and money involved with grabbing the update is worth it.

So do you actually have to be up to a certain point in the game to play it?

Nah, you can start a new character and you pick up the radio signal shortly after leaving the vault.

yeh i pretty much agree with the review. it was nice to see some different scenery in the fallout3 engine & i liked how it could be played quite fast paced. mainly due to the health n ammo restorers n no need to search coz stuff you can interact with glowed. the searching in the standard fallout3 can get a bit tedious i found coz stuff blends into the rest of the world so well :D

the friendly ai was retarded most of the time :p

I got this and started with a new character, as I haven't completed fallout 3 before I managed to get to level 8 and get some crazy shit early on.
