Kotaku have confirmed little Aussie distributor, Red-Ant, have gone into receivership leaving their top tier distro deals with the likes of Capcom, Bethesda, Konami and Midway well and truly up in the air.

Red-Ant were posted up on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission's website as being under investigation and "UNDER EXTERNAL ADMINISTRATION", Kotaku reports - which obviously means they did a bad, bad thing (like maybe not pay their light bill).

Hopefully this ugly turn of events for Red-Ant doesn't leave some of the bigger titles and expansions due for release in just a little while out of punters hands.

We'll let you know the dealio when we know more, too.
