Atari have sent through word a worldwide release date of June 19 (and June 16 for North America, because they're not part of the world) has been announced for the Ghostbusters videogame.

For those unaware, the game coincides with the 25th anniversary of the release of the original movie and has been penned by both Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis and will reunite most of the original cast as voices. June 18 is also the official worldwide release date for the series on Blu-ray.

Why oh why did they not make it 4 player co-op? Maybe even 2 player local, 4 player online coop. Would have probably gotten it if that was the case.

That must be a misprint, because it will have multiplayer. This is taken from a Gamespot preview:

"Besides the single-player game, Ghostbusters is slated to include a multiplayer mode with competitive and cooperative modes"

Every preview I've read on it speaks of multiplayer as well
