We have a scoop. Actually we have quite a few tidbits of information thanks to our candid video interview with Prince of Persia animation lead and fellow Aussie, David Wlkinson, from this year's Tokyo Game Show.

This video (roughly 15 minutes long), looks at the challenges animating the new Prince; shifting from hyper realism to hyper fantasy. It focuses on the difficulties stylising the animations, actions and overall art-direction while maintaining a game that is fun to play, challenging and never overbearingly easy. Above all else, Wilkinson reveals some back room secrets about portions of the Elika character (and just why she can't move on vines), and finally finishes by revealing some awesome potential gameplay shifts for Assassin's Creed 2.

Cool interview, didn't really show much of the game but did give some insight into development. Loved how David Wlkinson swore as if he knew you from high school.

Haha, thats a fantastic interview, much better interview than if it was with some marketting or PR guy who's just going to feed you the company lines. Good to see a bit of honesty for once :P

I remember watching an interview about that game Wet, and they were asked if you could pick up different weapons, and they said no, the main character keeps the same guns for the whole game because she has a phobia of using other people's guns. I mean come on, thats just ridiculous, I'm sure the developers themselves groaned when they hear shit like that.
