If you ever thought you were mildly obsessed with World of WarCraft you might want to think again. A gentleman by the name of Bradster not only has a massive stable of characters, most of them are signed up under different accounts. Why does he do that and waste money you ask? So he can perform all of his own raids without having to rely on other players, according to an interesting report over at Ripten.

Bradster has 36 WoW accounts and plays his characters across 11 different computers.
A lot have asked me, why create so many? The main reason is to invade Stormwind and Ironforge when they reach top level. I’m sure the Alliance will put up a big fight when that happens. We’ll see how it goes. If they don’t make level 70 before Wrath of the Lich King,
then it will be at level 80. That is my main goal.
You can check out the rest of the craziness from the above link, and you'll also get to see his insane set-up which we've pictured here, only much bigger though.

Not sure if I am impressed or if I pitty the guy. Although I know plenty of people that spend more time and money on their hobbies.

Doubt it, multiboxing isn't a good way to make gold, and gold in general is a poor way to make real life cash. The guy has 11 pc's all capable of running multiple wow sessions, $700 a month will be "nothing" to him.

TBH I have no idea why he picked 36, its a very random number in wow terms, groups are 5, raids and multiples of 5 (10,20,25,40) with 40 only being pre tbc content.

Wait and see if he gets them all to 70/80 I doubt it. Too much micro management.

Pretty sure the monthly fee is nothing compared to the amount he has to spend on amphetamines to keep up that micro...

Does anyone else see a problem with the fact that so many are shamans? Doesn't that say something about them needing nerfing?
Obes
Posted 04:53pm 12/10/08
There is a nerf coming. No more endless heroism, stacking totems etc etc.
Reverend Evil™
Posted 06:08pm 12/10/08
No more stacking totems?? Well that's ghey!

Actually, I wasn't aware totems stacked, unless it doesn't show up in the stats bit of the character. Whenever I play my two shammy's I never drop two of the same totems for that reason.

dont you just have a ton of shamans cause then you can link them up so they all do the same thing with one command eg: lightning or whatever

Some did and some don't.

A few still will (I think the healing and mana ones still will along with grounding)

also all that money on computers and wow subs, you'd think the fucker would buy a good chair - you'd have to assume he spends significant hours in the 'cockpit'

fkn idiot.

talk about a game taking over a life.

Maybe he likes that chair ?

I am very happy with my 5 year old $90 chair... my 6 month old chair at work some ergonomic $500 thing gives me back ache.

Actually I lie. My 5 year old chair is much older then that, it'd have to be atleast 13 year old now.

That's probably because it makes you actually sit properly and your back is deformed from years of sitting on a shit chair!

I know when I sit 'properly' I get short-term back pain and it feels really uncomfortable. But I get chronic back/shoulder pain when I sit incorrectly.

Sounds like trog is trying to justify his massively expensive chair that gives him back pain.

ps. I have no back pain at all (cos I gave my work chair to a co-worker and took an old one).
