So Dan and I have finished representing the awesome AusGamers vibe at day one of this year's Tokyo Game Show, and thanks to it being the first of only two days of exclusive press access, we got to see some pretty cool stuff.

For the most part, a lot of what's on show here is either too Japanese for the Western world or we've just seen it a bunch of times already, but with so much dropping towards the end of 2008, we're not skimping on the details and have actually had a pretty good chance to grill some people about their respective products to sift our way through all the PR fluff and hubbub for the real dirt.

We have a bunch of AusGamers exclusive videos coming your way with interviews from guys working on such games as Mirror's Edge, Need For Speed: Underground, Halo Wars, Fable II (with Mr. Molyneux himself, and it's a great vid for anyone looking forward to the game), Tom Clancy's HAWX and Prince of Persia (with an Aussie who is working on the game, no less). We also had a chance to check out other games which we'll be writing about in the coming days, equally.

So stay tuned as we'll be uploading these videos as fast as Dan can encode them, while I, in the meantime, will be getting all editorial on you with previews and hands-on reports (the first of which is InFamous for the PS3) for your reading pleasure.

Oh, and we'll be posting photos of random Japanese booth babes in awesome cosplay get ups, because ultimately, that's what TGS is all about.
