As the game draws ever closer to completion and eventual release, Fallout 3 has been garnering some serious momentum in the news, be it surrounding die-hard fans of Fallout and Fallout 2 criticising the game for not being Fallout or Fallout 2, or its initial ban, then classification in Australia following the renaming of real-world drugs, which then went on to be included in all versions, worldwide. Good or bad, I'm pretty sure all of this is going to result in solid sales.
We have some new screens up, and also came across a pretty cool interview that is geared more toward those inclined to pick this up on PC over at Shack News, where one of the better quotes from Bethesda's Pete Hines comes in response to the Aussie drug renaming 'scandal': "It is seriously the biggest non-issue in the history of videogames. It got way more attention than it merits."Agreed Pete. Fallout 3 is due to release in Australia on October 28 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

EDIT: Just watched that 5-part gameplay demo. It does look better, and it still looks really fun, but I can't say I've seen much of an improvement in those little combat cinematic moments. They still look kind of clunky, and the NPCs move and act exactly like they do in Oblivion.
Don't get me wrong, I think the game looks like heaps of fun, and I'll definitely be getting it, but animation doesn't really seem to be Bethesda's forte.
