FarCry 2 Release Date And Collector's Edition Details

Ubisoft have let us know the official release date of their free-roaming open-world FPS, FarCry 2. The game will hit retail across the country October 23rd for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms. It was also announced there would be a Collector's Edition with the following features:

Exclusive wooden box
Original Far Cry® 2 Game
Limited edition Far Cry® 2 t-shirt
"The Art of Far Cry® 2" Art book
Making-of DVD

You'll be able to pre-order the CE from any leading retailer between now and the game's release. You can check out all the info and media we have for the game from our FarCry 2 game page.

Agreed...

The trailers look pretty spectacular, and there's lots of new innovations in this game too.

It'll be a groundbreaking FPS no doubt.
