As is their way, Activision and Red Octane are slowly announcing the Guitar Hero World Tour set-list in bite-sized portions. Today at Activate 08 Activisions annual Asia-Pacific press event, four new tracks were confirmed:
  • Bullet for My Valentine - Scream Aim Fire
  • Lacuna Coil - Our Truth
  • Los Lobos - La Bamba
  • The Living End - Prisoner of Society
These join an already impressive lineup that includes Jimmi Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters and Metallica.

The hardcore heroes over at scorehero.com have kept good track of all the official announcements, so check out their forums for the rest of the list so far.

Update: Also confirmed was an Australia release date of November 12 2008. Mark your calendars lounge-room rockers.

Update 2: Acti have just released a couple more trailers from GH:WT. Check them out!

Nice to see Living End in there! They have lots of great "band" style songs.

Knock off the thread shitting jerks, if you're not interested in the topic of discussion, don't post.

Considering the popularity of the previous Guitar Hero games, and the fact that it's main competitor, rock band, was never released in Australia, I think it's safe to assume that yes, people give a shit about this game.

Any idea on how much this will be? If it's less than rock band (which i'm guessing it will be) then i'll be picking this up, and just the rock band game.

I certainly _wouldnt_ have cared about this game if Rock Band had been released, but its very much on the radar now
