Activision sends word that heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will be the headlining act in the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour. Much like they did for the recent Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Neversoft have given Ozzy the full mo-cap treatment - footage of which can be found in this new behind the scenes style trailer.
Budding rockstars around the world will have the opportunity to live out their ultimate fantasy on the virtual OZZFest stage, playing as Ozzy, or alongside him, as he wails to iconic rock track “Crazy Train” and “Mr. Crowley,” both from his quintuple platinum debut solo album Blizzard of Ozz. OZZFest, now in its 13th year, has also been created digitally as an in-game venue exclusively for Guitar Hero World Tour to host the heavy metal rock legend.
The press release goes on to reveal that Ozzy Osbourne guitarist and Black Label Society frontman Zack Wylde will also feature in the game, along with BLS' track Stillborn. The game's OZZFest stage will also feature a Metallica track - the thrash metal anthem Trapped Under Ice as well as System of a Down's B.Y.O.B..

It's a shame Ozzy sucked the big one when he played here a few months ago :(

I thought the show he did in brizzy was ok, though the only thing I have to compare it to was the budokan gig on dvd (which I enjoyed)

He could have played a little longer though :(

I've seen him twice now, a few months back and about 11 years ago. Both were epic concerts in my opinion, but my favorite one was just recently.
