Skate 2 Trailer

EA Canada have released a new trailer for Skate 2, offering the first look at in-game action from the follow-up to the well received skateboarding sim.

The clip features a bit over a minute of footage, showing off the various new locales in Skate 2 as well as confirming that you will be able to push selected items around the game world to create even more spectacular stunts.

Is it just me or do the animations look only half as good as they were in the original? I'm actually not so impressed with that, but as I learned with Dead Space, trailers aren't always the best representation of how a game will finally look and play.

New features seem to be being able to get off your board and run around as well as jump independently of the board to clear obstacles...

Doh, can't watch at home due to cap & cant watch at work due to blockage :/

Any hints / details on new tricks? As there is an unused thumb button i recall, was hoping they'd add a modifier or something. I really enjoyed it but playing a skateboarding game without doing a Casper just feels unnatural :D

One thing was jumping off the board, like board goes under seat/railing and the person goes over the top.

Also could "dismount" and run around on your feet.
