Contrary to a lot of internet rumouring (that we already had a look at), it was revealed by Blizzard executive VP, Rob Pardo, at the recent World Wide Invitational that StarCraft 2 is only "about a third of the way done", leaving many questioning the recent revelations a handful of the US's biggest retailers had suggesting the title would be slated for an early December 08 release.

Typically there is no hard evidence to back any of this up, only Blizzard's track record of taking their time to balance and polish their titles for as long as needed, meaning we likely won't hear anything official until much closer to SC2's release. We'll keep you posted though.

In the meantime be sure to check out our StarCraft 2 game page so you can drool just a little bit more over Blizzard this week.
