Not to be confused with the recently released Guitar Hero On Tour for the Nintendo DS, Activision have released a trailer promoting the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour. While specifics on the game are yet to be announced by Acti, World Tour is what we would refer to as Guitar Hero 4 and is stepping up to go head to head with EA's Rock Band with the expected introduction of drum and mic control.

Like it's predecessor, Guitar Hero World Tour is due on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PlayStation 2. Check out the teaser trailer right here on AusGamers.

I wonder if Activision are going to stop being bastards and let people use Rock Band peripherals for this? Would be nice, I doubt it'll happen, but it would be nice.
