In celebration of our locally hosted PC demo, we've aded a fresh new preview for the forthcoming block romp, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. While we did get hands-on with a very early build of the game a few months ago, Activisions and LucasArts were kind enough to give us access to a near-complete build of the game allowing us to go beyond the Peruvian Jungle of the game's first level and in search of all things Arky, Stoney and Chalicey.
So be sure to jump on in and have a read of our more in-depth time with the game just ahead of its June 4 release (and subsequent review) and in the build up to next week's release of the fourth Indiana Jones film. Comments:I can't wait to get pissed and play this. My house mate and I had an awesome time with the second one. The original Lego Starwars wasn't as good : /
I reckon they need to make Lego Back to the Future next imo. looks fun. i cant wait for lego batman
Lego Star Wars II kicked arse so im looking forward to this
so does anyone have this yet?
i got a free wii and want to buy a game in my first and last chance with a console. Dear Lucasarts... wtf is up with your price model for Lego Indiana Jones? $50 for PS2 and PC; $60 for PSP and DS; $90 for PS3, Wii & 360
so does anyone have this yet?We do; we'll have a review up shortly Lego Lord of the Rings next plzkthxbye
I bought it this morning. Target had the xbox 360 version for $71.95 (20% off, applies to all formats except PC (I think)). Go Go Go, some stores may have copies left.
Shame I don't get to play it till tomorrow. Stupid promises. Dear Lucasarts... wtf is up with your price model for Lego Indiana Jones? $50 for PS2 and PC; $60 for PSP and DS; $90 for PS3, Wii & 360 I'd hazard a guess it has something to do with the steep royalties Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo (not so much Nintendo) charge for publishing games for the current consoles. The low licensing costs (compared to other consoles) has always been a plus for Nintendos handheld consoles. Lego Lord of the Rings next plzkthxbye haha, omg that's such a great idea. With The Hobbit a couple of years off now, it could happen... chuck in the Silmarillon for good measure and you've got a double trilogy. What next. Lego Narnia? i got a free wii and want to buy a game in my first and last chance with a console prolly be disappointed seeing as the 360 and PS3 will look a million times better the Wii isn't crap but for a game like this I'd rather play it on something that will look better |
