Indie developer S2 Games won some fans for life when they released Savage: The Battle for Newerth back in 2003. An adventurous mix of the first person shooter and real-time strategy genres with the polish of a big-budget title and the spirit of community mod.

In the last five years that spirit hasn't changed and now they're back with Savage 2: A Tortured Soul. While many of the gameplay elements and ideas are similar, this one approaches a lot of things differently. Find out our thoughts in AusGamers' in-depth review.
