Nintendo of Australia have done something we never thought they'd do; given us a solid release date for Mario Kart's local release. The magic date for this uber-Wii title will be April 24 (just five days before GTA IV releases) and the game will come bundled with that eerie looking Wii Wheel.
Available 24 April 2008, Mario Kart™ Wii brings the iconic Mario Kart franchise onto Wii™ for the very first time. With a host of features including the Wii Wheel™, classic and new race tracks, never-before seen Mario Kart characters, new vehicles, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and even a new Wii channel – the Mario Kart Channel - Mario Kart Wii is a must have for every Wii owner.
Great news for Wii owners and Mario Kart fans alike. The full press release for the announcement can be seen by clicking here. All we need now is a solid date for Super Smash Bros Brawl.
