Valve have announced that BioShock will be available on their Steam content distribution system, and in fact is now available for pre-loading. If downloading 8 gig isn't your thing, just wait for it on shelves here in .au on the 24th of August.

My fileplanet preload just said 'refresh in 2 hrs'....Normally when fileplanet are unsure of a release its 'refresh in 24hrs'...so Hopefully the demo is coming out today.

I doubt the 8600GT/S will actually be able to run the game in DX10 at any decent resolution. I'm gonna be buying a 7900GS for a friend instead.

?..yes..and quality cards.

Bang for your buck wise..the x1950pro is an awesome card. Add to that..ATI actually have decent driver support.
