Resident Evil 5 Extended Trailer

Capcom today have released the full three minute teaser trailer to the hotly anticipated Resident Evil 5, which, until now has only been shown at around 30 seconds long. You can view a HD video of the trailer from here, but for the real deal, fire up your Xbox 360 and download it from Xbox Live Marketplace.

Not much is known about the game, but judging from the terror and ferocity of this new trailer, we can expect a game that takes queues from Res Evil 4 and electrifies them with an intensity second to none. I'm going out on a limb here and suggesting this will easily be game of the year in 2008.

Hrm, I think it's still up in the air, in that Res Evil 4 came a lot later than it was supposed to, but I heard a whisper or two at E3 that we'd most likely see it in 2008, but if it does slip to 09, I'm going to make a run at it being game of the year then, too :)

It's ok to kill white zombies though, right? I think they're just trying to go for a different setting. Looks to be North African/ Middle eastern. Could be interesting.
