The iPhone was released recently in the US and is causing waves; there's a lot of feedback around there so I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader if you want to find out more about what people think of it so far. No news has been confirmed about Australian availability at this time.

More interesting to tech nerds might be the hacking attempts that are going on to get inside the sweet digital innards of the iPhone. Famed reverse engineer DVDJon has recently announced he's figured out a way to activate an iPhone without AT&T. Various backend passwords have also been exposed.

They wouldn't put video in while the iPod video is selling so well, thats cross-product marketing and that would just be silly.
As for the "no-custom ringtone" problem, wouldn't surprise me if they start selling ringtone versions of songs through their "iTunes" program for 99c...greedy weiners.

Also, since when have phones ever had good cameras...seriously get over the phone-camera's.
