Nintendo announced recently that since the launch of the Wii and the online store where you pay to download classic games to play on the Wii, they have sold more than 4.7 million games, at a rate of over 1000 games an hour.

Considering not every Wii owner is on the net, and not every wii owner would even bother buying classic games, that seems like an amazing number, and a huge cash-cow for Nintendo. promoted forum item
