The immediate opening to Oblivion is stunningly engaging - you're met with the booming, commanding voice of Patrick Stewart who plays the emporer before discovering that you are locked up in a cell in the city's dungeon. From the outset you create your character with a barrage of options - here alone it's possible to spend a few hours getting everything just right.
