AusGamers and Microsoft are please to announce the Australian part of a huge, international Age of Empires II tournament!

Age of Empires® fans will be given the chance to test their skills this October and potentially walk away with US$50,000 (that’s around AUD$100,000) in the International Age of Empires® Tournament.

The Tournament, open to residents of NSW, Queensland and Victoria aged 18 years of age and over who hold a valid copy of Age of Empires® II and its official add-on pack The Conquerors Expansion, is the biggest of it’s kind.
The Australian round of the Tournament will be held in association with the AusGamers Network. The event will be held on the 6 October at the following venues:

* Parramatta Masonic Club in Parramatta, NSW
* Latrobe University in Bundoora, Victoria
* ANZ Stadium in Nathan, Queensland

In total, up to 150 Australian Age fans will be given the opportunity to battle it out for their chance to be titled Australian Representative Champion and compete in the International Tournament in Redmond USA.
