Some more great news in the fight against online cheating - Even Balance, developers of the anti-cheating solution PunkBuster have announced that they will be implementhing their system into America's Army:

The U.S. Army has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate our PunkBuster� Anti-Cheat software into the online game known as America's Army. Having won many awards, America's Army has grown to a level of high popularity during the past few months and can be obtained at no cost via download from the America's Army website. We will soon be opening a section on our website to support PunkBuster� for America's Army. Honest players and admins who would like to report actual known working cheats and hacks for the game are encouraged to email the details to [email protected]

This is awesome news; its great to see developers really taking this issue seriously. More people using PunkBuster will ultimately mean better cheat protection for everyone.
