The new version of the popular 3d benchmarking tool 3dMark has been released.
3DMark03 is a collection of 3D tests. These include a set of four game tests; these are the only tests used to calculate the overall 3DMark03 score. The benchmark also includes a set of CPU, feature, image quality, and sound tests. Each of these tests measures specific 3D-related functionality, but their result is not included in the overall score. They do not fall into the target usage, but are included to allow the user to evaluate these features.
Grab it now from AusGamers Files. Sorry about the delay on this one; if I'd been awake at 4am I might have been able to nab it earlier.

Once you've run it, post back here in the comments with your system specifications and your results for comparison!

Oh, as for the OCAU threads... Get stuffed, not registering for a forum just so I can *read* it! That's so gay.

It sure did make my day, as i said on the ocau forums :P

Im also pretty sure OCed (or just too hot) memory is the cause of artifacts

I cant (de)select which tests i want to run, so i cant run just the first 3.. is that why gf4s are scoreing so low, only being able to run some?

Think of the nature test from 2001se.. which i FINALLY got to see when i got my radeon. It has less massive general scenes with tons of grass/leaves (and runs pretty slow on those bits) and has some really nice looking close ups incuding ownage water

Ill get some shots now.. pity this forum dont let you edit anymore.

Budda, your cpu is 2.5 times the power, your ram owns mine, yet only 450ish more marks?

(as a side note, with project compare i found a system exactly the same as mine with half the ram lost 500 marks)

I got 5 shots of the nature test here, http://vi55er.tripod.com/shots.zip

And you cant edit if you are viewing this from ausgamers frontpage, the threads you goto there use their crappy script which doesnt show sigs or allow you to do anything.

Ill handle, you must have broken something in a good way, im pretty sure people with same card/better cpu werent getting that many marks. I havnt seen anyone scoring anywhere near that high at all.

My guess is some kind of NDA agreement - especially as nvidia is going heavily anti-futuremark they hardly want results of prerelease cards getting out, and they are spouting LOADS of bs about how they dont think its a fair representation, blah blah.
