Yesterday afternoon AusGamers was given a two-level demo of Prototype from Activision and also went hands-on with the sandbox superhero romp.

If you've been keeping up with the cascade of media (mostly trailers) surrounding Prototype, you're likely still umming and ahhing about it, but thankfully, while short, our session should prove something of an idea for you as to how the game is shaping up.
